1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to create or use a Ground Games account. Ground Games is not designed for children under 13. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or legal guardian has permitted you to use Ground Games and participate in activities or events with appropriate supervision.
2. Your account
Provide accurate information, protect your login credentials, and use only your own account. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell support promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
3. Physical activity and real-world risk
Cardio, outdoor movement, travel, and in-person gatherings involve risks including traffic, terrain, weather, overexertion, injury, illness, and interaction with other people. You decide whether and how to participate. Ground Games does not provide medical advice, route supervision, emergency response, or a guarantee that an event or participant is safe.
Consult an appropriate medical professional before beginning activity when needed. Stop if conditions or your health make participation unsafe.
4. Maps, GPS, scores, and event information
Maps, GPS distance, routes, Region context, points, attendance, and event details may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. Do not rely on Ground Games for emergency navigation. Points and standings are game results, not certified athletic measurements.
5. Crews, captains, and events
Crews and captains are community participants, not employees or agents of Ground Games. Hosts are responsible for providing honest event information. Ground Games does not control every gathering and is not responsible for the independent conduct of captains, members, hosts, guests, or third parties.
6. Your content
You retain ownership of content you create. You grant Ground Games a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service. You must have the rights and permissions necessary to share it.
7. Acceptable use
Follow the Community Rules. Do not misuse the service, interfere with security, scrape private information, impersonate others, falsify activity, evade blocks or restrictions, or use Ground Games for unlawful conduct.
8. Reports, blocking, and enforcement
Reporting sends a concern for review and does not guarantee removal or a particular outcome. Blocking changes supported social visibility and interaction but may preserve shared crew or event presence. We may remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, or terminate accounts when reasonably necessary to protect users, enforce these Terms, or comply with law.
9. Service changes and availability
Ground Games is an evolving service. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features and may correct results affected by errors, abuse, or integrity issues. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability.
10. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ground Games is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, non-infringement, accuracy, safety, or availability.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Maximus Brown and Ground Games will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss arising from participation in physical activity, events, user conduct, location information, content, data loss, or inability to use the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
12. Account termination and deletion
You may stop using Ground Games and may request account deletion. We may suspend or terminate access for serious or repeated violations. The sections that by their nature should survive termination, including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute provisions, remain effective.
13. Governing law and contact
