SAFETY

Movement should bring people together safely.

Ground Games helps people find crews and events, but every participant remains responsible for their own decisions, surroundings, and physical limits.

Before cardio

  • Choose activity appropriate for your health, experience, weather, daylight, and route conditions.
  • Tell someone where you are going when moving alone.
  • Bring appropriate water, visibility gear, identification, and a charged phone.
  • Do not begin activity if you feel unwell or conditions are unsafe.

While moving

  • Pay attention to roads, crossings, vehicles, bicycles, animals, terrain, and other people.
  • Do not operate the app while crossing streets or when attention should remain on movement.
  • Stop activity and seek appropriate help for pain, dizziness, breathing difficulty, or another concerning symptom.
  • GPS distance and maps can be incomplete or inaccurate. Never depend on Ground Games for emergency navigation.

Meeting people

  • Review the host, meeting point, pace, and expectations before attending.
  • Prefer public meeting locations and bring a trusted person when appropriate.
  • You may leave any gathering at any time.
  • Captains and hosts are community organizers, not medical professionals or emergency responders.

Location privacy

Cardio recording may create a route preview. Consider where you start and finish before sharing activity with a crew. Do not publish another person’s private location or movement without permission.

Report or block

Use the safety menu on supported posts, comments, and member profiles. Reporting sends a concern for review. Blocking hides the blocked member’s Crew Wall content from your view and restricts new social interaction, while shared crew or event presence may remain visible.
